Contracts & Export Compliance Manager

    The Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics designs and manufactures high-density, high-reliability electronics for our aerospace, space, military, medical, industrial, and commercial customers. Our product line includes custom, semi-custom and off-the-shelf power converters and custom miniature (hybrid) electronics circuits for applications across various markets including commercial, space and military aerospace and fiber optics. We have been designing and building DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and special products since 1969.

We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Contract and Export Compliance Manager. Reporting to the Director of Contracts and Compliance, you will be responsible for proposal support, negotiation and contract management for high dollar value contracts and oversight of the performance by non-Contracts personnel Contracts functions for smaller dollar value orders. The environment is fast paced and growing.
    Qualifications:
10+ years experience in contract management, policies and procedures and negotiations.
· Bachelor''s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Contract Administration, Economics, Business Law, Law, Paralegal Studies or related field.
· Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple contract matters.
· Experience with Department of Defense, DFAR, U.S. Government, FAR, Commercial Transaction, UCC
· Experience with international contract negotiation and commercial contracting.
· Demonstrated ability to achieve deal closures with customers on mutually agreeable terms.
· Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to providing advice, counsel and coaching in interpreting and understanding contracts.
    Responsibilities:
Provide the Contracts responsibilities as described above with a high level of proficiency and professionalism.
· Partner with company-wide staff at all levels (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Export Compliance, Purchasing, etc.) to insure contract compliance across all functional areas.
· Ensure compliance with company-wide contracts policies, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct strategic contractual assessments and risk mitigation for on-going and new programs.
· Provide accurate interpretation and implementation of contractual and applicable U.S. Government regulations.
· Continue the implementation of Contract Administration process and procedures.
    Unique Conditions:
