Is your company taking advantage of all the benefits of drawback?  Join us to discuss the basic methods and recent changes in drawback regulations due to the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act (TFTEA) and the mandatory ACE Drawback requirements.  You will also learn how the transition of the Drawback offices into the Center of Excellence and Expertise (CEE) may impact your program.  Whether you are a first-time claimant or have been claiming drawback for years, you may be enlightened to new potential opportunities or strategies to consider.

Nancy Hiromoto, Vice President of N. F. Stroth & Associates

Nancy Hiromoto is a licensed customs broker with an extensive background in international trade.  She was previously responsible for all aspects of global trade at a major manufacturer.  She now serves as Vice President of N.F. Stroth & Associates, specializing in Duty Drawback.

Nancy has been and continues to be very active in the trade community.  She is on the Industry Leadership Council and Nominating Committee for the American Association of Importers and Exporters. She is past president of the Foreign Trade Association and  Women in International Trade, as well as Past Chair of World Trade Week under the auspices of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.  In 2008, Nancy was the recipient of the prestigious Stanley T. Olafson Bronze Plaque for her advancement of international trade in Southern California.  Nancy Hiromoto is also Chair Emeritus of the Japan America Society of Southern California. Read more…
